Palm Weevil
Native insect that can feed on the center portion of the canopy. Catching it early and treatment as soon as it’s seen in the palm.
Nutrient Deficiencies
Yellowing on your palm is not the frond getting old to prune off. Its nutrition! And lack of it. Typically magnesium and potassium are seen with marginal or spotted yellow in lower palm fronds. An annual palm program with consistent fertility allows the new growth to push out full and green that you may not need to prune any more yellowing fronds.
